After reading all these post on nipple shields I have what seems like a simple solution but i know that it is not simple.
I think the 'nipple shield' should be re-invented by a LC. The shape was been the same for many years - hard and large. It would be great if there was some really talented LC's who could prototype a new nipple shield. One that is smaller in size when more breast skin would be touching babies face and the texture much softer maybe like silly puddy instead of firm plastic. And somehow have it form over the nipple area well still exposing large amounts of areola.

Oh what a minute - allow me to wake up from this perfect dream :)
