Hep B & C are NOT containdications to using Mom's BM for premies, even the
most immature.  Hep B vaccine and HBIG should be given, but even without the
vaccine, the risk of transmission is very close to 0.  The CDC, AAP, WHO all
agree that Hep C is NOT a contraindication to Mom's milk.  Ask your Neos if
they know of Dr. Larry Gartner.  They should. He routinely lectures (as do I)
that Hep B and C are NOT contraindications to Moms giving milk to their
premies.
