Hi All,

I'm just back from a UNICEF meeting on IYCF in emergencies that was held in
the Philippines (followed up with a couple of weeks much needed holiday with
the family- sadly formula is still being aggressively promoted there). I'm
wondering however whether Kiwi Lactnetters might have some case histories or
experiences on infant feeding in emergencies that they can share?? I've
noticed a couple of articles mentioning the need for evacuated families to
have "baby food"...I wonder though whether there has been some awareness
raised of the difficulties in which the caregivers of formula fed babies are
placed in emergencies.
