Just have to chime in here and remind everyone that we each have a FREE pump
at the end of our arms, for use if you ever need to express milk.  It's
called your HAND.  It isn't that difficult to learn how to hand express, and
it *can be* very quick and much more efficient than either a manual or an
electric pump.  We need to remember that eveyrone doesn't have to have a
technological fix.  Learn how to milk a goat first, and you'll have little
trouble learning how to hand express.  Perhaps all
maternity/post-partum/NICUs should have a herd of goats out back, for moms
who haven't had the experience.
