I remember a study of mice. The mice got every day of their lives a dose GV
in alcohol, about the amount we give a baby in the mouth for thrush, the mice
had the absolute (not relative) amount to drink daily for the whole live.
Some of the mice developped a livercancer. Can't find the reference, must be
somewhere at the bottom of a pile, I'm afraid.
