Dito Cindy,

I have done many crematocrits over the years for those wonderful Drs. that
use to discredit moms and tell them "I think your milk is too thin, maybe
similar to skim milk". I would scream under my breath and gentle tell the
mother her milk was just fine that God does not make bad or weak milk, and I
would test it just to show her how good it was. I would take many, "mini"
samples throughout the day-24hrs samples. I was fortunate when I set up the
Chicago Milk Bank in the 70's that I received many donations, one being the
hematocrit centrifuge machine. Sure enough, the spun-down milk was always
right up there with the same calories as formula. (imagine that) Lawrence
does describe the tecnique on p. 616 of her red book. BREASTMILK IS
WONDERFUL, COMPLETE, AND NOT MISSING ANYTHING !!!!!!! Auh, Thank-you.

"Have the courage to act instead of react" Darlene Larson Jenks (still
learning that one)
