Was this a nursing or weaning child?  (Sounds like it.)  Do I understand correctly that the "incident" occurred Dec 08, the boy was removed Oct 09, and the two remain separated?  However did it come to pass that the "incident" was reported & that separation occurred 10 months later?  Is this case well known?

Please let us know too if there is anything those of us further away could do in terms of letter writing or such.  I hope local organizations can intercede.

So so sad.  I cannot imagine the damage to the relationship or the anguish of the mother forced to submit to counseling and to plea guilty to indecency.

This would have to be the worst case I have heard of. I think that there needs to be some official action taken by ABA and LCANZ.
