Friends,
Locally there is a physician writing up a similar case study where one
triplet died. I t was a differerent organism and the other 2 were treated and
survived. He is wanting all breastmilk cultured now. And the day i was
visiting his unit he was telling the residents of another spetic infant,
whose mom's milk was cultured and found high in pathogens. He held her breast
milk and asked that she talk to the ob about getting on antibiotics for
mastitis, he in turn would not 'Rx because she was asymptomatic.
While breastmilk isn't sterile, perhaps we have taken to blaise of an
approach to this liquid gold.
