not holding my temper and keeping a clear head about me! All my
textbooks and journals are at my office, and I'm not scheduled to work
again until Wednesday. But, I'd like to start compiling my ammunition.
Can anyone help me with titles of research studies. I'm betting that
whatever I give him, he'll refuse to believe it (if he even reads it at all).

Debbie,
This week I had a call from a hospital LC who I have worked w/ and known for
years. She was calling b/c a local ped called to complain about me to her
(concerned that the hospital gives out my name!). We will only briefly
mention that the ped should have called me directly, the hospital LC should
have said so and... Anyway, I called the ped who was upset that I had
recommended a chiropractor to the mom. She told me no baby ever needs a
chiropractor for any reason. (This baby was 8 weeks at the time that she was
finally referred for help, her nipples were horribly chomped on, she had
secondary Reynaud's and was basically in non-stop pain. Baby had a very
traumatic birth. Mom never went to chiro and quit the same day.)
The ped and I spoke for about 15 minutes. I asked her if she really
believed that babies are born today the way they were meant to be born. She
said "no"--so I asked her how she could be sure what damage was being done to
these traumatized babies. She told me that she had never thought of it that
way and was willing to keep an open mind. You never know--it is always worth
a try.
