OK Lactnetters,
Here's your chance to give your opinion on a commentary by the managing
editor of WebRN. The title is Beyond Breastfeeding: Too much emphasis on
breastfeeding leaves a lot out.
Ms. Gray states, "The fact is, though, whatever benefits breastfeeding
offers, those advantages are not monumental or life-changing, especially when
lined up against thousands of decisions parents and children make about
health, nutrition, and welfare in those first 18 years."
When you get to WebRN, click on the section called commentary. They invite
you to let them know your opinion about the articles in this section.
You can then click on the women's health bar and find some very good
information and comments on breastfeeding.
