Subject: [LACTNET] prenatal brochure

**Hi Mary,

**From the looks of your familyname, you might have Dutch origins...? ;o)
Didn't see any reactions to your question yet; I was somewhat behind on
reading, so I hope to add something.

I am looking for a brochure to distribute to OB/GYN offices that will
spark interest, or fan the flames of, potential breastfeeding mothers.
I am trying to urge more mothers to become educated before birth on the
obstacles they face in the hospitals and how to mitigate them. The
brochure would have to be lower literacy, multicultural, inexpensive and
"catchy". It would also need to have space where our specific info on
classes and lactation center number could be added. Please contact me
off list if you have any recommendations. Thank you for all your
assistance.

**In the Netherlands, many people get the introductory leaflet from the
Dutch volunteer association VBN. I'm in the editing committee and all of our
brochures get revised every second year, including this one. We try to keep
information basic in the introductory leaflet, giving a general impression.
I suppose LLL has the same kind of thing...?

Kindly,

Marianne Vanderveen, Netherlands
