This all sounds like drug reactions to me, beginning with whatever was
given during the dental work.

>She went to the ER, and they gave her some Xanax.

Not smart, in my opinion.

>He did some of the basics (thyroid, etc), and decided she had
>postpartum depression and put her on Paxil.

Oh, how they recklessly throw around those powerful drugs!!

I assume that she is no longer on the Xanax or Paxil.

I would be afraid that if she keeps going from one specialist to another
and, given that they don't like to say, "I don't know." she will continue
to be invaded by powerful drugs to which she may be overly sensitive.

Some people are highly sensitive to these things. One of my daughters is
very sensitive to any meds. She takes 2 baby aspirin and her ears ring.
She has to take teeny weeny amounts of any substances, including caffeine.

I would advise her to have things checked out, but to plead for no
pharmaceutical interventions as part of the MD guessing. Some time to clear
her system of the meds will probably restore her to health.

That prescription pad is just too handy.
