I personally took both of these meds while I was breastfeeding. When I
expressed concern to my asthma specialist I was told that both were safe
while nursing. BTW, I was on higher does of prednisone too, 60-80 mg/day.

According to Tom Hale's book, prednisone is approved for use in BF mothers
by the American Academy of Pediatrics. How about sharing this info. with the
pediatrician or using the Lactation Fax Hotline in the back of the book?

More from Dr. Hale?
