Hi All,

I have a mom who is collecting breastmilk from friends to help supplement
her twins (this is the mom with the Gastric Bypass I talked about earlier).
The most she is pumping every 2-3 hours is 10-15 mls. Babies are doing
so-so on ABM. Her insurance will not pay for donor milk from any milk bank.
As a result several of her friends have agreed to provide her with as much
breast milk as possible.

My question is: Is it better to spread out the breastmilk she gets from her
friends or give it all to the babies at once? She may not be able to get
enough to exclusively feed EBM so the babies will still be getting ABM. I'm
thinking it would do them better to get some breastmilk every day rather
than a couple days of only EBM then back to ABM only if there is not enough
EBM. Is that clear as mud?

Input appreciated! Please e-mail privately.
