Just ask the manager to ask the hospital attorney what the hospitals
liability would be if there would be a problem with a home made pacifer.
 This one is a no brainer.  You don't need supportive literature to
decide that home made dummies are not good.  Ask the manager to ask the
chief of the peds service if he/she thinks this is a good idea.
