We purchased IKEA Poang chairs for our WIC clinics for several reasons,
laid-back position, no moving parts and no way for toddler parts to get
rocked on and washable covers. Also they do not take up a lot of space. They
are very cost effective.  I do make sure to offer assistance to new moms
getting up from them.  Moms who sit in them all go, ahhhh, as they relax
into them!  Also I am visited frequently by other staff at lunch time to
enjoy the chair! I have no connection with IKEA other then spending too much
personal money there!
