greetings,

a question:  a mom with whom i am working called the local milk bank
offering to donate excess milk.  she was turned down because she is tandem
nursing her 3 year old along with her 1 month old.  when she asked why, she
was told "the milk is old b/c or your 3 year old nursing - it's just the
policy".  could this be an accurate representation of milk bank policy?  is
there some reason i am missing to turn away milk just because a donor is
tandem nursing?  any input very welcome - thanks!
