I remember reading some months earlier about the theory of an infant's
saliva sending signals to through the nipple pores to determine the
composition of the milk. What I wondered then and what I still wonder is
this: what of the mom who is tandem nursing a toddler who nurses often,
not just in the morning and evening? Would the sibling's saliva be
competing, in a sense, to determine the milk's composition?
