I have not been moved to post to Lactnet for some time, but jacqui, you
moved me! That was one of the most articulate, humbling posts I have ever read
and it again makes me realize how little I know. After 11 yr. of helping
breastfeeding mothers most days of the week (and many more yr. before that of
informal advocacy) all I know is that I'll never stop learning and that is why
this work is so compelling. Breastfeeding is about so many things--nutrition,
health advocacy, but at its core it's about mothering. Thank you so much for
your perspective. I am in awe.

Kathy Boggs, RN, IBCLC
