As a mom w/ a child w/ severe food allergies, it was recomended that I completely eliminate all known allergens from my diet from subsequant pregnancies until weaning. So even though one of my son's allergies might exhibit a less significant reaction than another there is still a potential of the "lesser" allergen senstizing the next baby's system and a future reaction being more severe. Personally for me, if I have weaned by next baby I will plan and eliminate before getting pregnant so it is from conception onward, but all known allergens are to be avoided by mom plus nuts since they are very popular allergens. Don't quote me on this but I've recently heard somewhere that they are recomending all pregnant women avoid nuts. Is this true? I'm not sure. I just seem to remember hearing it in my travels lately.

Obviously holding off on solids as long as possible and absolutely no supplementation w/ formula if the child has a milk or soy allergy family history.

I have no other clinical experience though, just what I have learned hands on with my own kids, but hopefully this helps.
