I know that some of you  have been following the ongoing story of my
dissertation research on breastfeeding and the workplace.
Just want to let you all know that I completed and efended the dissertation thisspring. The dissertation was on "Nursing Mothers at Work: An Analysis of
Corporate and Maternal Strategies to Support Lactation in the
Workplace." I interviewed new moms, supervisors and human resurce people from
three companies in the Boston area and then I did phone interviews with
about 25 women from all over teh country who answered my notice on
Lactnet or were referred b y Lactnetters.
  I am now in the process of preparing the results for publication. I'll
keep you all posted on where it is accepted.
  Just want to thank you all for your references, referrals and general
moral support throughout this process.
