Jeanette,

I looked this one up because I knew it to be true but off the top of my head
didn't know how I knew: In Lawrence's book, Breastfeeding, A Guide for the
Medical Profession, p 70 , she refers to a study on prolactin levels that
found levels "notably higher at night than during the day, despite greater
nursing times during the day." Reference: Stern JM, Reichlin S: "Prolactin
circadian rhythm persists throughtout lactation in women, Neuroendocrinology
51:31, 1990.

Didn't get to Auerbach and Riordan, probably in there, too. Thanks for
making me look this up, too!
