OK, folks, I'm going to go out on a limb here -- Kathleen Bruce is in Europe
right now, giving some lectures in Switzerland, so she isn't here to
respond, and perhaps she wouldn't anyway.  Kathleen Auerbach doesn't read
the list on a daily basis, the way Kathleen Bruce does when she is here.
This is my humble opinion only:

The two Kathleen began this list, and continue to provide this service, out
of the goodness of their hearts.  They do not get paid a penny for all the
time and effort they put into this list.  If they ask us not to discuss a
topic -- whether it is circumcision, abortion, religion, or finding ILCA
conference roommates -- then we should respect their wishes, and not
complain about it being unfair, or question their motives, or say
"nanny-nanny-boo-boo, we're going to discuss it whether the list mothers
like it or not."  They do not HAVE to provide this service to all of us.
