I am new to lactnet and have been lurking around now for awhile. I
currently am employed fulltime in a hospital that does approximately 300
deliveries per month. We see inpatients, do outpatients, phone triage and
some NICU.
My question has to do with third party reimbursement and charging for
lactation outpatient visits. I have searched the archives but am not
finding the information our business office is asking for.

Our hospital is investigating charging for outpatient lactation visits. Our
business office would like to talk with someone in a business office who is
currently charging for this service.
If you are a hospital based LC ( in the US )who currently charges for OPV
would it be possible to give me the name of a contact person in your
business office that our business office could contact for information on
how to get this started.
