I had a very curious question posed by a client yesterday. She had been
watching national news a couple of days ago and an MD was on discussing a new
"breast enhancing" concoction of herbs that is used topically and several
drops under the tongue (just what I want my 14.5 y/o daughter to hear about!).
The result is larger breasts over time. I guess the MD singled out the
Fenugreek in this stuff and specifically addressed this as an herb that one
does not want to take if you have a family hx of breast CA. He said it has
"estrogen-like" properties and should not be taken. All of the craziness
about this concoction aside, I'm not familiar with this being an issue with
Fenugreek. Of course this mother is breastfeeding twins and taking Fenugreek
and has a family hx of breast CA. Comments....
Thanks!
