I got a call from a Mom with a 5 month old nursing baby who is intending to
spend 4 months in El Salvador (baby IS going too!). She thinks she wants to
get a vaccine for Hep A and take malaria medication. I am not very up on
vaccines. I don't know if these vaccines are needed in El Salvador. BUT...
presuming Mom HAS done her research well - does anyone know if either of
these are contra-indicated for breastfeeding? I found info on the Hep B
vaccine in Hale but nothing on Hep A. Thanks
