Michele Scott posts on a baby with Down's whose tongue turns blue at the
times she spits up her evening feed.
The baby's doc is said to be unworried. I am assuming that means the doc
knows that the blue tongue is not cyanosis from a heart defect. If the doc
doesn't know that for sure, then it should be investigated properly. Blue
tongues are only normal in blueberry season, and not in newborns.
