My opinion is the the type of bottle is way less important than the way it is used...and really no bottle is anywhere close to breastfeeding, but the more marketing claims that are made the more $$ they cost. I often refer women to the ABA fact sheet teh Caregiver's Guide to the Breastfed Baby https://www.breastfeeding.asn.au/system/files/ABACaregiversGuideApril2013_0.pdf

> If bottles are the only option, I will continue to recommend they look for wide based nipples.  I have never felt comfortable recommending one brand over the other anyways, when it comes to pumps, bottles, etc.  Now that I'm on the path to becoming an LC, I want to be and will be more diligent in making sure my clients are looking into multiple options.
