I really credit mom's good supply despite a horrible latch (she says since
birth) to the fact she has been breastfeeding almost continuously for 8
years, even through 3 pregnancies. I was ready with my classic pump and some
syringes to get some milk in this guy but while I was looking at his palate
he started rooting and I didn't want to wait it, so we worked on latch. I
also think the long history of nursing may be why she didn't feel any pain
in the beginning, she was used to a poorly positioned toddler.
