The local CBS station in Scranton/ Wilkes Barre PA interviewed
me and one of my breastfeeding patient's mom. It was aired right
after the CH episode. It went well. I got in the ICLA statement
ideas and even was able to add that the majority of cases
of insufficient milk syndrome are insufficient doctor syndrome.
The news report even asked questions that allowed me to
briefly discuss hazards of formula feeding. She ended by saying
that breastfeeding is the normal way to feed babies.
Hum, breastfeeding ....normal, now where have I heard that?
