If there wasn't a group of babies exclusively breastfed (according to WHO definition) for six months included in the study, then it can't tell anyone anything about outcomes associated with exclusive breastfeeding.  That is basic epidemiology.  I would question the expertise of anyone who extrapolates anything about exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months from this study.
