Lacnetters,
Someone was asking about "BC/BS". Could it be Blue Cross/Blue Shield as
in insurance company???

For the Kathleens: Can we use product names if we are not trying to sell
them? About 1/2 the time, I am unsure as to what D_____, R____, etc. means
and some are using the names and it hasn't been mentioned as a problem. If
this is okay, could you say so. I'm sure people living outside the US are
having an even harder time with some of the products.

Regarding nursing names: Both my oldest two children weaned by 1 year
and we did not have pet names for them. With my third child, I encouraged
the word "num-nums" after about 1 yr of age so we could talk about it
publicly. He then changed that to "numers" somehow and it stuck so that I,
too, called it "numers". For about 6 months or so, he called it "side". I
guess I would ask if he was ready for the other side and it stuck, for a
while. My fourth, who was tandem nursing with the third until he weaned at
3 yrs, as continued to call it "numers". Since I am expecting my fifth next
month, I assume the name will be passed on since I will be tandem nursing
once again. It's been fun to hear all the nursing names!
