Hmmm. I'm not sure I see the benefit. If a bottle is necessary, how is
this better than holding the bottle in a "nursing position"? It seems
like quite a contraption to wrestle around with when a baby is hungry.
But, worse, they are promoting its use to "include other family
members in the breast-feeding process." How, exactly? Do we really
want to promote a product that perpetuates the notion that feeding is
the only way to be close to a baby? It also says it, "supports
hands-free natural positioning and ergonomics for optimal
breast-feeding comfort." It's not breastfeeding. It might have an
artificial teat coming out of the approximate location of the nipple,
but it's not a breast. It's still a substitute.
