I'm so glad to both know Labbok is on the short list for surgeon general
AND that activist-IBCLC people like Deb are on Lactnet. Please everyone
who ever thought of writing a letter to a representative or member of
Congress...do it now. This one appointment could be the single greatest
leap forward the US could make in lactation. Don't worry, she won't put
all of us out of jobs by suddenly making all the problems go away. She
will, however, set the stage from the top down, in the same fashion that
Koop (and resigning FDA head Kessler) did for smoking. Remember...
"when the tide is going out, it is easy to make it appear as though you're
emptying the ocean with a pail."

WarmLLLy,
Chris
