Suzanne,
This is still awful but hopefully what you've been able to do might help a
little. However, it is the baby who is really suffering and his/her human
rights have been truly violated while s/he is has done nothing wrong. I just
keep hearing in my head the headline "Mother jailed for sleeping with baby"
and I can't understand it. I am pretty sure that this would not happen in
Australia and that it is fairly routine for young babies to stay with their
mothers in jail (though I could be wrong, any other Aussie Lactnetters know
the situation?)
