I have a literature search in front of me referring to iron and the breastfed baby
over 6 months old. The articles discuss the issue, but the conclusions are still
controversial. Also, in Lawrence (1994), iron supplementation is suggested, whilst
Auerbach & Riordan say iron is ok until 9 months. Doesn't seem like we know for sure.
