The problem is that different countries have different marketing
arrangements. In the US Cadbury is ok, I don't know what
the arrangements are in UK or elsewhere.
This is one of the things that makes a successful boycott so difficult.
If people can't remember easily what not to buy, it won't work. Now
with companies buying one another out every other week, and having
different arrangements in different countries, a large scale boycott
is almost impossible.
Should we perhaps be thinking of a different strategy for putting
pressure on Nestle and other companies to comply with the Code?
