Hi Jan and other Lactnetters...
Although I didn't hear the recent speaker discuss IV oxytocin, I did have the
priviledge of hearing Niles Newton speak several years ago in Toledo...at
that time she discussed the research that she and her husband did concerning
oxytocin (natural) and its' effect on breastfeeding, etc. She stated in that
discussion that synthetic oxytocin (Pitocin) does not cross the blood-brain
barrier and does not have all of the effects in the body that naturally
produced oxytocin has. So once again, Nature is Better :-)

Also wanted to say to Jan Barger that I enjoyed hearing her speak yesterday
at the MALC seminar...thanks!
