Earlier in the week I asked if anyone could give any other refs for the one
posted which claimed that alcohol could impair the MER - one other person
shared my scepticism, and no one posted any other supporting refs...sorry
to ask again, but I am doing a class and I *know* this will come up
(alcohol always does) .

The quote was "If alcohol is used, advise the lactating woman to limit her
intake to no
more than 0.5 g of alcohol per kg of maternal body weight per day.
Intake over this level may impair the milk ejection reflex."

Do you reckon I am safe to say this view is some way outside the mainstream
- huh....not that that alone makes it wrong : 0.....!
