Hi, Anne: Like you I was shocked to hear that the company has recalled
these pillows. I and my moms love them as it is so much easier
to "schmush" them to conform to mom and her baby than some of the other
pillows out there. But apparently the reason these pillows were recalled
is a "possible" suffocation hazard if the baby is laid face down across the
pillow. I would think using a little common sense would prevent problems.
Why can't use of this pillow fall into the same caution category as use of
standard bed pillows, rather than a total recall of what is otherwise a
useful product. Does this mean all bed and other pillows should be
recalled? I shudder to think what my quality of sleep would be like if
there were no pillows available. BTW, I have no financial interest in this
company.

Further confirmation of my suspicion of why parenting is so difficult.
It's based on common sense and none of us parents have any! Tongue-in-cheek!
