Goodness, breastfeeding in public is certainly in the news in Australia this
week!

According to the article, the YMCA has apologized and indicated its policies
were misinterpreted: "Victorian YMCA chief executive Peter Burns said the
main concern was for the baby's health. "The issue for us was more about
alerting her to the very minor potential for cross-infection from a baby
swallowing some water," he said. "We subscribe to the Australian
Breastfeeding Association policy on breastfeeding, which in part says a baby
has the right to be breastfed wherever and whenever necessary," he said."
