Heleen's experiences sort of explain why we have/need interventions.
Other's experiences explain why many births don't need any interventions.
Whatever the labor/delivery situation, it ultimately impacts bf.
The other side of the problem is that many interventions that occur in
hospital, occur because of what was done in the first place (induction,
augmentation etc). Because of a financial need to move women in and out in
a timely fashion (in US) interventions take place, lead to other
interventions and lo and behold we have an out of control c-section rate and
screwed up bf, because of meddling with Mother Nature and women's bodies. No
wonder women have a mind set that makes them not trust their bodies!

I, for one, can't wait to see this new film by Rikki Lake. Maybe it is the
eye opener that women in the US need. The promo is neat. Pat in SNJ
