Add to this the falsely high birth weight (edema), after which baby
urinates a lot the first couple of days and loses more than that "magical"
10%, leading to alarm and treating with abm, which leads to less breast
stimulation and nipple confusion. Not to mention imprinting on new
parents' minds that they have an at-risk baby which the all-knowing doctors
"saved."

And it's a good thing that she had a hospital birth, because just look at
all of the complications--which would have been disastrous at a home birth.

"The kingdom is lost all because of a horseshoe nail." An old rhyme about
cause and effect.
