Thank you so much to all who posted and emailed me personally about this
issue. I printed off your replies, as well as info from Dr. Jack's site,
and used some LLL literature that I had on hand. Together with all this
great info, the mom and I came to the conclusion that what she had
experienced was a classic "worse before it gets better" situation.

I am happy to report that during my visit with her today, she reported that
she is doing much better already, with less pain, and the "hole" is already
closing over! She is going to continue to use the GV for one or two more
applications, as well as using an "all-purpose nipple cream" as described by
Dr. Jack. I suggested that if her pain has not ceased by her midwife
appointment on Tuesday, that she have the midwife prescribe Diflucan. But,
I have a feeling she won't be needing it. She was feeling so much better
about everything today - what a difference a day makes!

Again, thanks for your prompt replies! You guys are great.

Blessings!

Karyn-grace Clarke
