I have another example from today. In the UK there is a hugh problem with the
mouth and footh disease in cattle. Thousands and thousands, maybe millions of cows
are burned. Most of them are burned in the open air. Since burning of organic
material in moderate temperatures creates dioxins, now the new alarming news is
that lots of dioxins are released in the air.

This will cause fear, especially under nursing mothers.. It is very important that
the UK breastfeeding organization make their statement quickly, but they need to
do it evidence based. Just say: "you can nurse safely" isn't enough anymore since
the trust of people in 'official statements' has diminshed after several such
national problems and subsequent denial of governmental offices. You need to
explain what happens, how it works, and what the studies have showed.
