Hi, recently a client from Poland with difficulty breastfeeding said her
mother wouldn't be very helpful with the newborn " because in Poland they
don't breastfeed for the first 3 days".  When questioned she did admit that
they gave water, but didn't know if this was plain or with anything.  Is
the grandmother misimformed? Might this be only a family or regional
practice?
