I agree that it is disturbing to see moms who feel that this is the
equivalent of breastfeeding and "more convenient" for mom. (Won't
even get into that-not what this is about).  However, I ask myself
whether these moms would breastfeed if this wasn't an option.  Some
might, but I think most of the "pump and bottle" moms would only
formula feed if this option wasn't available.  So let's not condemn
all the moms doing this.  Pumping and bottling isn't the ideal, but
it's way ahead of just formula feeding!
