Enjoyed your anecdotes, here's another.  Being the usual type grandmom I
was at my daughter's house everyday for the first couple of weeks,
cleaning, cooking, doing wash and of all things, bathing baby.  This was
with her first 2.  With the third we had a family  death the day before he
was born and I had a lot to do. So I said to  my daughter off handedly, you
can do the bath today (day 3) because I won't have time.  She panicked and
said "I've never bathed a new baby before!"  Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
