I would put my money on corn. I see lots of corn-sensitive babies...and it
is in many processed foods as a cheap sweetener.  Wonder if there is any
corn-derived sweetener in his zantac.

I do not see babies have trouble with caffeine, if she would like to add
that back.  But if avoiding corn, must be sure NOT to drink "regular" soda.
 (although I think I read that one of the coke products has sucrose in it
instead of corn syrup.

Corn words on processed foods = dextrose, dextrates, maltodextrose.

I really think it is worth a try...
