Dear Rachel,

I was very surprised to read that in Norway you are using powdered 
formula for newborns.  In the US we aren't supposed to use it for any 
baby under four weeks old or compromised in any way (as if artificial 
feeding in and of itself weren't compromising), and it was my 
understand the Europe was on top of the issue long before we figured it 
out over here.

Have you ever had any problem using the powder?  Is sterility not as 
much of a concern?
